Employment at

New Hope Academy

We are an international pre-K to 12th grade private school with 235 students in suburban Maryland near Washington, D.C.  Founded by Unificationist families in 1990, the state-certified school is non-sectarian multi-faith, emphasizing a strong academic program, with character development based on values universal to people of all religions. Over 20 faiths and 35 nationalities are represented among faculty, staff, and students. Stanford Test scores place New Hope Academy in the top 10% of schools in the country.

Classes are small, usually 21 students or less, with time allotted for planning. Teachers have a refreshing amount of freedom in curriculum decisions compared to public school, allowing for more creativity. We endeavor to create an optimum environment in which to work and grow, for students, faculty, and staff. The administration is committed to helping each teacher become a master teacher. We invite you to join us in developing better systems of education for the 21st century.
