GET TO KNOW US

The New Hope family is a close-knit community with exceptional teachers, a supportive staff, and encouraging parents.

Our goals is to strengthen the PTO program through parent and teacher participation, increased student involvement, and supporting NHA activities and programs. Curious to find out more about us and how you can get involved? Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to get important updates from parents like you!

Are you a student or a parent considering coming to New Hope Academy’s Elementary or Middle School, our pre-school, or New Hope International High School? We encourage those interested in considering the New Hope family to visit our school’s main website to see some of the things we do to enhance the learning experience of our students.

We have an exciting year planned and we hope to see you and hear from you on how we best support our children, our teachers, and our administrators.

2025-2026 PTO Board Members

We are proud to introduce our PTO President,Alice Hughes, who brings a unique perspective as both an English teacher here at our school and a dedicated parent of three children who also attend our school. Her dual role as an educator and parent allows her to understand the needs of both families and teachers, making her an invaluable leader in our PTO.

Harvest Festival

The Annual Harvest Festival is the PTO’s biggest event. It highlights each class allowing for unique fundraising by grade, activity or school group. The event is for the entire student body from Pre-K-12th grade and their families and often draws former families and Alumni back.

On behalf of Lee Waughtel (PTO V.P.) amount requested is $1500 which would be the operating budget for the event and allow the PTO to supply goodie bags, some free games, table cloths, entertainment etc.

MEMBERSHIP

All of us who are guardians of children attending NHA are automatically members of the PTO, and we pay annual dues of $50 per family.

However, families can choose how they can best be involved, from creating their own projects to joining committees.  Help us by sharing your passion and strengths where they will make the biggest impact.

Sign up today! We appreciate the support.
