Our Sports Program
New Hope Academy’s athletic programs are designed to support students striving for personal excellence and a balance between academics and athletics. NHA’s athletic vision provides a broad array of athletic programs, available for all ages (3-19 years), and abilities.
NHA’s strong character education program aligns well with the fundamental skills needed for academic and athletic success and leads to a fulfilling life. The skills necessary for success include self-discipline, resilience, perseverance and grit, commitment to the team, cooperation, clear communication, good sportsmanship, ability to focus, and time management.
New Hope Academy offers varsity, recreational, and elective sports programs for students of all ages. Sports vary from year-to-year, based on student interests and an adequate level of participation needed to field a team. In past years, we have offered sports ranging from track, soccer, basketball, T-Ball, flag football, golf, tumbling, volleyball, tennis, and cheerleading, as well as martial arts, yoga, personal fitness, and a variety of dance classes.






Meet The Athletic Director
Shaun Houston
Our Athletic Director, Shaun Houston, is committed to a program that will address the needs of students of all ages and skill levels. Working closely with the coaching staff, the program focuses on developing the student’s skills and fostering a love of the game.
NHA believes in developing our youth into student athletes with good character and strong academic qualifications providing them with more possibilities for their future. Athletes who have an aptitude and a passion for the game will have opportunities for more competitive play and to explore potential college scholarships.
